The Situation
A homeowner in Thornhill called us with a serious drainage issue — all the sinks and toilets in the house were backing up. It was an uncomfortable situation, and understandably, the customer wanted it sorted quickly before it caused further problems.
Inspection and Diagnosis
We arrived on time and started with a CCTV camera inspection of the drains. It’s the best way to find out exactly what’s going on inside the pipes without guesswork or unnecessary digging. The camera revealed a blockage caused by sanitary items that had built up over time, restricting the flow of water throughout the house. Left unchecked, this kind of blockage can cause major overflows and even damage to the plumbing system.
The Solution
We explained the problem clearly to the customer and provided a straightforward quote for the work. Once approved, we used a high-powered sewer eel to clear the blockage completely. This tool is effective at removing solid build-ups like sanitary items and wipes that often cause household drainage issues.
The blockage was cleared on the same day, restoring the sinks, toilets, and overall drainage system to proper working order. The customer was relieved to have the issue sorted without any mess or damage left behind.
Key Wins for This Job:
- Same-day service with no delays

Why CCTV Drain Inspections Matter
Blocked drains can be caused by a variety of factors — from sanitary items to tree roots or even collapsed pipes.
