Roof Leak Repairs in Kerrisdale – Flashing and Fixings Restored
A local homeowner in Kerrisdale contacted us after noticing water leaks coming through the roof during rain. We organised a site visit and completed a full roof inspection to find the cause.
Inspection Findings – Damaged Flashing and Missing Roofing Screws
On inspection we found damaged roof flashing and several missing roofing screws. Debris had also built up under the lower flashing which can trap water and direct it back under the sheets.
What We Repaired
- Supplied and installed new roofing screws as required to the top section of the roof, ridge capping and lower roof flashing
- Blew out and removed trapped leaves under the lower flashing
- Re-applied silicone and added rivets to secure flashing and create a watertight seal
- Applied noxyde coating to all penetrations on the front top roof
Result – Watertight Finish and Clean Work Area
The roof is now sealed and secure. Water is shedding correctly, and the risk of ingress at the flashing and penetrations has been addressed. We removed all debris and packaging from site. The works took two days to complete.
