Toilet Upgrades for Home Sale in Gisborne

This job came through a local homeowner who had just listed their house for sale. They found us through a local recommendation and were keen to get their outdated 20-year-old toilets upgraded quickly before open-for-inspection. They knew buyers look for clean, modern bathrooms, and replacing the tired old toilet suites was a simple way to freshen up the look and function of the home.

Inspection and Quoting

We did an on-site visit the same day to inspect both bathrooms. The customer wanted something reliable, functional, and neat — but without overcapitalising before the sale. We quoted for two new Posh Solus linked closed-coupled toilet suites, known for their clean design and solid warranty.

What We Installed

Each toilet install included:

Removal of existing units
New ceramic cisterns
Soft-close toilet seats
New pan collar rubbers and isolation valves
All old units removed and disposed of properly

Fast Turnaround, No Mess

Both toilets were replaced in one visit with no mess left behind. We sealed and checked all connections and ensured everything was working perfectly. The homeowner was happy with how smoothly it all went — and even happier they didn’t need to wait around or coordinate multiple trades.

Why It Matters

If you're selling your home, small updates can make a big impact. A modern toilet suite is one of the first things people see during a bathroom inspection. It adds function, cleanliness, and that feeling of "move-in ready".
